Botox is a non-surgical treatment used to reduce excessive facial wrinkles or expression lines in both men and women. Botox has the ability to treat large forehead wrinkles, “crows feet” or the frown lines between eyebrows.
Botox is an FDA approved non-surgical injection that works by relaxing the overactive muscles so that you can still have the same facial impressions, just with fewer wrinkles.
Before the treatment an anesthetic is placed on the skin. Once Botox is injected results will be visible within a few days. Results typically last four months, but individual results may vary.

Blepharoplasty
Blepharoplasty is a surgical procedure to remove excess eyelid skin that can impair your vision. If the excessive skin is blocking or limiting your vision it is a procedure that can be covered by insurance.
The surgery itself involves the repositioning or removing of excess upper eyelid tissue. Depending on the severity of the condition both upper and lower eyelid procedures may need to be performed. Generally, the excess skin from the upper eyelid will hang down over the eyelashes and block peripheral vision, and the outer and upper parts of the vision field.
Patients who have less severe excess skin may opt for an elective blepharoplasty procedure because of cosmetic reasons, especially if the excess skin is located on the lower eyelids. Cosmetic blepharoplasty will not be covered by insurance.
The procedure is performed by making incisions along the external folds of the creases of the upper eyelids below the lashes, or on the inside surface of the lower eyelids. Following surgery swelling and bruising may be substantial for the first two weeks, but should diminish in the weeks following surgery
