Dr. Lanter and his Staff,  I had PRK done in April 2010, and only wish I had done it sooner.  The procedure was well explained, the recovery time was easy and nearly painless, and my vision is incredible!  Since the sugery, my husband and I have moved to an area of Texas know for its clear rivers, and we swim and snorkle several times a week.  The sun is also very, very bright here, and not a day goes by that I'm not delighted to be able to just wear sunglasses, or a scuba mask and see everything so crisply.  Thank you so much!  - Christine B

I chose Dr. Lanter because of his excellent reputation and experience.  The entire Lanter Eye Care staff provides you with personalized service, something you just don't find at the larger chain laser vision center.  Dr. Lanter was more than happy to meet with me prior to my surgery and discuss all of my questions and concerns.  He, of course, performed my surgery and was there to see me and check on my progress the very next day.  When I woke up the morning after surgery I was thrilled with my vision.  I could look out my back window and see several deer.  I felt like a kid with a new toy.  It' hard to explain how exciting it is to see so well without glasses or contacts.  I found the procedure very easy and the recovery was quick.

Over one year after eye surgery I figured out that getting rid of eyeglasses and contacts was not the only benefit to this procedure. This evening at dusk I observed OWLS in my backyard.  I was able to easily track their movements, and once they roosted, used binoculars to look at them closely.  Previous to my eye surgery this type of nighttime activity was difficult at best, especially when wearing eyeglasses.
